Hyundai Motor India Limited recently launched the all-new Hyundai i20 N-Line. Featuring a bolder exterior and a sportier-looking interior, the new model goes on to offer a more exciting look than the regular model. What's even better is that it has an updated suspension that has been revised keeping sporty handling characteristics in mind.
In an exclusive interview with 91Wheels, Tarun Garg, Director, Sales, Servicing and Marketing, Hyundai Motor India Ltd has said that the i20 N Line is designed to have a powerful and energetic look. The new front bumper, a textured cascading grille, and a sleek rear bumper enhance not just the look but also its aerodynamic performance. One can pick up from nine distinct exterior colours and can even have a black-coloured roof.

Talking about the hatchback segment, Mr Garg commented that from the past 10 years, this class of vehicles has had a growth rate of around 30% if compared to earlier times. The way Indian customers are evolving now, they are not at all ready to compromise with looks and design and neither with the features nor creature comforts. The N-Line launched in the Indian market has been Inspired by WRC-spec i20 and has been designed keeping the youth in mind

To give its customer a different experience, the new Hyundai i20 N-Line will only be available at the carmaker's signature showrooms, which are 188 in number and are present in only 97 cities across India. Also, initially, it was thought that the N-Line would cost up to Rs 2 lakh more than the regular model but the price of the sportier model is just about Rs 50,000 higher, which is something that makes it an even more exciting proposition.
Tarun Garge also talked about the differences between India-spec i20 N Line and the one sold in the western markets. If seen, Hyundai's N-Line range has achieved success across the globe, with almost 11 models available in 40 countries. India being a unique country, the i20 N-Line for our market has been specially designed and structured keeping Indian customers in mind.
Hyundai has trained its Signature outlet executives to offer a special car-buying appearance to the prospective buyers of the Hyundai i20 N-Line. A separate zone has been created to excite the customers as Hyundai, with its i20 N-Line, is pushing the tagline, Its time to Play. to the public.
