Mahindra Scorpio N Features Altered By IMCR Change
Mahindra has made some changes to the Scorpio N model as part of their routine Integrated Material Cost Reduction (IMCR) efforts. Specifically, they've adjusted features in the Z6 and Z8 trim levels, and there might be similar changes to other trims in the future. The details reveal that the Z4, Z6, Z8, and Z8L variants originally came with a Cooled Glove Box feature. However, due to IMCR, the Z4 and Z6 variants will no longer include this feature, while it will still be available in the Z8 and Z8L variants. This update has been implemented online, and the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) cutoff for this change is MA1TJ2ZC6P6K91722. All communication materials, such as the website and brochures, have been updated accordingly.
Currently, the Z6 Infotainment system boasts Adrenox Connect technology, Built-in Alexa, and a 17.78 cm Color TFT cluster display. However, there's an upcoming change part of a larger Infotainment and Cluster Module Replacement (IMCR) initiative.
The Z6 is getting an upgrade, and it will now adopt the features found in the Z4 variant. While the overall appearance and feel of the Z6 won't undergo significant alterations, there are a few adjustments you should know about. The features bidding farewell with this change are Adrenox Connect, Built-In Alexa, and the 17.78 cm Color TFT display. Instead, the Z6 will be equipped with a 10.66 cm Monochrome Cluster, aligning it with the Z4.

Effective January 1, 2024, Mahindra is introducing some cool changes to the Z6 variant's infotainment and cluster features. But here's the catch these upgrades are only for folks making new bookings after this date. If you're among those who booked their ride before December 31, 2023, don't worry, you'll still get the current Z6 infotainment and cluster. To keep everyone in the loop, Mahindra is busy updating all their communication materials like the website and brochures.
Over the past few months, Mahindra has been making adjustments to its Z8 and Z8L trims, and it's worth noting some notable changes. Specifically, the passenger side door request sensor has been removed from both versions, and the number of rear parking sensors has been reduced from four to two. It's interesting to observe these alterations in the feature set. Despite these changes, the majority of the other features have been retained for now. Under the hood, the Scorpio N retains its familiar performance capabilities. The vehicle continues to be powered by the reliable 2.0L petrol and 2.2L diesel engines. You still have the option of choosing between a 6-speed manual transmission and a 6-speed automatic transmission. Notably, the 4WD configuration is exclusively available for the diesel variants, while all trims come with a standard RWD layout.
