The India-bound Honda CB500X middleweight adventure tourer now gets a new name for itself. While the bike is now been renamed to Honda NX500, where NX means New x-over. it gets a few substantial updates as well. The design of the adventure tourer has been refreshed and now looks more appealing while feeling a bit more practical.

Honda CB500X Now NX500: New Design Updates
For the 2024 model, the Japanese brand has undergone a major transformation in styling and aesthetics. The bike now boasts a larger windscreen and a new LED headlight unit in its brand-new front fascia. The fairing is noticeably larger, adding to the bike's road presence, and the taillight has a fresh look. Additionally, the overall kerb weight has been reduced thanks to lighter wheels.

The 2024 model also features a modern five-inch TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity, enhancing both the display and communication capabilities. These changes combine to create a bike that not only looks striking but offers improved performance and a more connected riding experience.
Engine Details
The 2024 model introduces notable upgrades to its 471cc parallel-twin engine, prioritizing enhanced smoothness through the incorporation of a crank counterweight and balancer shaft. While maintaining a consistent power output of 47bhp, these refinements contribute to a vibration-free and refined riding experience. Complementing the engine enhancements, the suspension system has undergone a meticulous retuning, striking a balance for improved on-road and off-road performance.
Anticipated to make its debut in India early next year, the new Honda NX500 is poised to succeed the CB500X. While expectations are high for this much-anticipated release, there is a lingering concern about potential pricing, where its positioning will be a key factor in its adaptability in the market.
