Jawa India has launched the 42 FJ in India, priced at Rs 2,15,142. This new model carries the design legacy of its sibling, the Jawa 42, and is available in five different color options. Jawa 42 FJ: A Closer Look At the Colour Options
The Jawa 42 FJ offers five colour options: Aurora Green Matte, Cosmo Blue Matte, Deep Black Matte, Deep Black Matte Red Clad, and Mystique Copper. This range gives you a good mix, from deep, solid shades to brighter hues. The bikes design features a dual-tone setup, where the handlebar, seat, tyres, alloy wheels, and engine sides are all painted black. The colour accents are on the fuel tank, rear and front fenders, and the headlamp head.
Built on a double cradle frame, this model has a seat height of 790 mm, a ground clearance of 178 mm, a kerb weight of 184 kg, and a 12-litre fuel tank capacity.

The Jawa 42 FJ features a classic circular headlamp, a long single seat, and dual exhausts, giving it a distinct and stylish appearance. Compared to the regular Jawa 42, the fuel tank on the FJ version appears slightly longer, although it still retains some design elements from the original model.
The bike comes with some great features, including an LED headlamp and LED taillamp, and a circular digital instrument cluster that looks similar to the one on the Jawa 42 model. This cluster shows all the essential information in digital form, like the odometer, tachometer, tripmeter, speedometer, time, fuel gauge, side stand indicator, ABS indicator, and more.
It also supports Bluetooth connectivity, so you can get call and SMS alerts, use navigation, and connect with an app. Additionally, the bike is equipped with dual-channel ABS, an assist and slipper clutch, and a USB port for charging your devices.
It is powered by a 334cc single-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, producing 29 bhp of power and 29.62 Nm of torque, paired with a smooth six-speed gearbox. The bike is equipped with twin exhausts for an added retro charm.
For braking, the Jawa 42 FJ comes with disc brakes with floating callipers on both the front and rear, ensuring solid stopping power. Additionally, it features ABS at both ends for enhanced safety. The wheels are fitted with 100/90-18, 56H tyres at the front and 140/70-17, 66H tyres at the rear, providing a balanced ride.
