Keeway SR250 is the latest addition to the lineup of products the company in India. The neo-retro bike has been priced at Rs 1.49 lakh and it debuted at the Auto Expo'23. Keeway SR250 Bike - Better Than Hunter 350?
Adishwar Auto Ride handles the Keeway brand in India. The SR250 was showcased at the Indian Auto Expo'23. It grabbed a lot of attention and hence the company decided to launch it in India. The price of it is Rs 1.49 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi. Now, with the commencement of its deliveries, Keeway is trying to lure new buyers in an interesting way. The company has announced a lucky draw for the first 500 customers. As per details, 5 lucky customers will get 100 per cent of cashback on the retail price. Additionally, the SR250 is being offered with a 'My SR My Way' scheme. As per it, customers can modify their bikes with custom colour options. The standard bike is sold in three colours - White, Black, & Red.
The SR250 is equipped with a 223cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. This engine makes a peak power of 15.78 bhp & 16 Nm of peak torque. This power is mated to a 5-speed transmission. Other hardware consists of 17-inch spoke wheels, LED light, single-seat, telescopic front forks, & dual springs at the rear. Keeway is also offering an AMC (Annual Maintenance Contract). As per it, customers can get benefits like discounts on spare parts, engine oil, etc.
Verdict - The Keeway SR250 is a retro-modern bike. It rivals Royal Enfield Hunter 350 & TVS Ronin 225 in India. The funky yet retro design of it and its features like a digital instrument console and unique design shall attract a decent volume of buyers.
