1. Kia Sonet Facelift
Bookings for the recently unveiled Kia Sonet facelift have commenced shortly after its global debut. While the existing three engine options and transmission choices, including manual, iMT, and automatic, remain unchanged, the diesel manual variant has been reintroduced. The 2024 Sonet is now better equipped to compete with rivals such as the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Nissan Magnite, and other compact SUVs. Notable additions include a Level 1 ADAS, a new 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and subtle interior and exterior enhancements. Kia India will reveal the prices soon in the coming months.

2. Kia India To Launch Carnival Facelift In Second Half Of 2024
The Kia KA4, representing the fourth generation of the Carnival MPV, made its debut at Auto Expo 2023. The model showcased a more robust, SUV-inspired design, featuring larger dimensions compared to its predecessor, incorporating design elements from newer Kia models. Spy shots have hinted at these design influences. The interior of the 2024 Carnival boasts a more minimalistic approach, featuring two prominent 12.3-inch displays that house various features and safety equipment. While the MPV is available in 7-, 9-, and 11-seat configurations internationally, the configuration for the Indian market is yet to be confirmed. The expectation is for the 201hp, 2.2-litre diesel engine to continue its presence in the model.
3. Kia EV9
The concept Kia EV9 displayed at the 2023 Auto Expo was equipped with a 77.4kWh battery pack. However, the global production-spec model unveiled later, featured a larger 99.8kWh, 800V battery, offering a WLTP range of up to 563km. The Kia EV9 is anticipated to come with options for rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The rear-wheel-drive version will be powered by a 203hp, 350Nm motor, while the all-wheel-drive EV9 will incorporate two 192hp motors, one on each axle.
It is expected to launch somewhere around the first quarter of 2024.
