India's 2023 Kia Seltos has set a new record, boasting the highest first-day bookings in its category. Since its launch in July '23, it has now exceeded 100,000 bookings. 2023 Kia Seltos Records Over 1 Lakh Bookings - Discover The Key Features Attracting Buyers
The New Seltos in India kicks off at 10.99 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). Since its debut in August 2019, Kia has rolled out over 6 Lakhs Seltos units in India, with nearly 75% finding homes in the domestic market. Last year, in 2023, Kia managed to sell a total of 1.04 Lakh units of the Seltos.
Interestingly, automatic variants are stealing the show, making up about 50% of total bookings. More and more buyers, around 40%, are showing keen interest in models equipped with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) due to the growing awareness of advanced safety features.

When it comes to preferences, it seems sunroofs are a big hit among Indian customers, with a whopping 80% of Seltos buyers opting for this feature.
Which 2023 Kia Seltos Variants Have The Most Demand In The Market?
The petrol to diesel booking ratio is holding strong at 58:42%. And, if you're into the premium vibe, you're not alone a staggering 80% of buyers are leaning towards owning the top variants.
Launched in July 2023, the new Seltos has a refreshed design, enhanced performance, robust exterior, futuristic cabin, and advanced technology, it packs 32 features, including 15 safety and 17 ADAS Level 2 autonomous features.

While the Kia Seltos undoubtedly enjoys commendable success, it reflects a broader trend in the Indian market where consumers prioritize advanced features, such as Active Safety and sunroofs, aligning with the vehicle's reputation as an aspirational choice.
