KTM 250 Adventure V Variant - Details
Duplicating what KTM recently did with its Adventure 390, the 250 ADV now gets a lower seat height variant. The latest 250 ADV V version gets a seat height of only 834mm. The previous or you can say the standard version gets a seat height of 855mm. The aforesaid seat height is higher for shorter riders and hence the company decided to introduce a lower seat height version. For this, KTM has used the front suspension unit of the Duke 250. Additionally, there have been no other changes to the motorcycle anyhow.
Mind you, the latest 250 ADV comes with an unaltered engine and mechanicals. The 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine makes a peak power of 30 bhp & a peak torque of 24 Nm. KTM has equipped the 250 ADV with features like a digital display for the instrument, dual-channel ABS, alloy wheels, etc. Also, a 6-speed transmission has been fitted to mate this power to the rear wheel. The pricing of the new 'V' variant is Rs 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom).

KTM 250 Adventure has been a sought-after adventure motorcycle. It solves the purpose with enough power and the right equipment to solve the purpose. With the lower seat height variant, KTM aims to conquer a wider audience with more concentrated use for the highway. One of the main rivals in India of the 250 ADV is the Suzuki V Strom 250.
