KTM has launched the MY22 model of the Adventure 250 in India. While there are no mechanical changes to the motorcycle, two new colours have been added in the range. These include Electronic Orange and Factory Racing Blue. Thankfully, 2022 KTM Adventure Price remains unaltered and it still carries an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.35 lakh. The bike is now available for bookings across India and KTM claims there are easy finance options with EMIs starting at just Rs 6300.
The Adventure 250 locks horns with the likes of the Royal Enfield Himalayan and the recently launched Benelli TRK 251. KTM had slashed its pricing last year and frankly, the little 250 does offer very good value for money. There are no mechanical changes to the bike and this ain't a bad thing. Why? It was already a well sorted packaged, with high quality bits and useful rider aids. These include WP Apex suspension at both the ends, adjustable visor, knuckle guards as standard, 30PS 250cc engine, BYBRE brakes and Bosch derived 2-channel ABS.
The Adventure 250 is about Rs 70,000 cheaper than the Adventure 390 and also rewards the rider with 20-25% better fuel economy. It is also better to handle at lower speeds and a perfect stepping stone into the world of adventure motorcycles. For off road enthusiasts, the bike offers class leading ground clearance of 200mm along with 170mm of travel up front and 177mm of travel at the back. True to its adventure origins, the 250 wears dual purpose tyres which offer extra grip off the road.
