Adventure 390 Rally - What To Expect?
So, as its name suggests, the Rally variant is going to be the most hardcore version of the Adventure 390. KTM will fit spoked rims on it for more durability and less maintenance during off-road riding. Additionally, we've seen the test bikes in the past with AT tyres. Hence, the possibility of them being shoved on the Rally edition can't be denied.
Also, the Rally variant will get an adjustable suspension. The preload and rebound adjustment shall allow the riders to tune the suspension as per the riding conditions. As per the rumors online, the Rally variant will go on sale by the end of this month. It'll be priced at least Rs 30,000 or more than its other variants.
Noticeably, it'll remain unchanged apart from the tyres and suspension. Hence, the tried & tested 373cc single-cylinder engine will remain as it is on it. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission and slipper-assist clutch as well. Feature-wise, KTM offers a TFT colour display, LED lights, LED indicators, traction control, & Bluetooth smartphone connectivity for a better riding experience.
Verdict
KTM Adventure 390 already beholds a good value in the Indian ADV segment. However, it's newest rival i.e. the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is on its way. It'll get a new liquid-cooled engine with more power and better features. Hence, to keep up the sales pace, KTM is renewing the Adventure 390 with newer variants.
