Mahindra Scorpio Classic has been one of the most successful products of Mahindra. In fact, since the launch of its recent facelift/update, its demand has increased even more. As a result, the Scorpio Classic currently commands a waiting period of over 7 months on both S and S11 variants.
However, according to some other sources and media reports, the highest waiting period for Scorpio Classic is about 5 months with the average waiting period turning out to be just 3 months. This might be the case in some cities as the waiting period differs significantly from city to city.
Moreover, if you are from Delhi, Bengaluru, Indore, or Noida, you might get the delivery of Scorpio Classic in as early as two months. Whereas if you belong to Mumbai or Faridabad, you might have to wait for up to five months for your Scorpio Classic.
Mahindra Scorpio Classic Variants
Mahindra Scorpio Classic is available with a single engine option i.e. a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing 132 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. It comes mated only to a 6-speed manual gearbox with no automatic transmission option. It also misses out on the 4X4 or 4WD tech that the Scorpio-N gets. Moreover, the Sciprio Classic is only available in 2 variants, S and S11.

Verdict: Seeing the ever-growing demand for the Scorpio Classic, Mahindra has said that they are trying to increase the production of Scorpio Classic and also their other high-demand models like Scorpio-N and XUV700.
