Nearly after a year of its launch, the waiting period has dropped, but there is still a caveat. While the timeline is reduced, it still is a chunky number at 52 weeks, which translates into 1 year. Yes, this is after the Scorpio N touched almost 2 years waiting period on some of its variants back in November 2022. It is important to note that these periods depend on the variant you are choosing and also the location of your dealership. Mahindra Scorpio N: Powertrain
The Mahindra Scorpio N comes with two engine options. The first is a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine, offering 200 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque with the 6-speed MT. However, it jumps up to 380 Nm with the 6-speed AT variant. The second option is a 2.2-liter diesel engine, available in two tunes: 130 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque, or 172 horsepower and 370 Nm of torque with the 6-speed manual gearbox (400 Nm with the 6-speed automatic).

It boasts an array of offerings such as dual-zone climate control, colored MID display, front and rear cameras, auto start-stop functionality, cruise control, Type-C USB ports in both the front and second rows, keyless go, wireless charging, wireless compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 12-speaker 3D Sony sound system, and an array of connected car features. Notably, it incorporates the convenience of Alexa-enabled What3Word, allowing users to pinpoint their location with just a three-word combination.
The Scorpio N offers a comprehensive safety suite including up to 6 airbags, ESP, traction control, hill-hold and hill-descent controls, tyre pressure monitoring, and a driver drowsiness detection system, among other advanced features.

Mahindra is having a great run in both Indian and overseas market. Courtesy of recent launches, Thar, XUV700, and the Scorpio N. While there is still 1 year of waiting time on some variants, it is getting better as more SUVs are rolling out of the showrooms.
