Mahindra Scorpio-N has been an instant hit for Mahindra. However, for customers, it has remained a hard-to-access SUV because of its long waiting periods. Even after almost a year of its launch, the Scorpio-N still commands a maximum waiting period of 1 year & 6 months. Moreover, the average waiting period on most Scorpio-N variants is still around 1 year. Let's see the waiting period details of all the Scorpio-N variants.

The Scorpio-N is available in 5 variants i.e. Z2, Z4, Z6, Z8 & Z8L. Moreover, it comes in both petrol and diesel engine options with 6-speed manual & 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options available with both engines. As there are so many variants to choose from in the Scorpio-N lineup, here are its variant-wise waiting period details.

Moreover, on the diesel side, the top-end Z8L manual & automatic variants carry a waiting period of 6 to 7 months and 8 to 9 months respectively. Verdict: Although the waiting period on Scorpio-N is still very high, it has reduced significantly when compared to a few months back when some variants of it, including the top-end variant, had a waiting period of over 2 years. We now expect Mahindra to also reduce the waiting period on the lower variants of Scorpio-N.
