Mahindra Thar.e - Exterior Design
The Thar electric concept presents itself in the familiar silhouette of the conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) Thar, featuring its distinctive boxy design. The vehicle's robust and upright stance contributes to an authentic off-road appearance. Notably, the electric variant showcases significant exterior enhancements. This includes a redesigned front fascia housing three integrated LED daytime running lights on each side, complemented by square-shaped LED headlamps. The most apparent change is the noticeable increase in ground clearance. Moving to the rear, the design showcases squared-off LED tail lamps and a spare wheel mounted on the rear door.
In terms of dimensions, the Thar EV has modified its wheelbase by 130mm, resulting in a projected wheelbase ranging from 2,775mm to 2,975mm. To enhance its off-road performance, it boasts a ground clearance spanning 250-300mm, a front overhang between 640-680mm, and a rear overhang measuring 680-740mm.
