Mahindra Thar New Colour Option Introduced: Deep Forest Green
The Mahindra Thar has been subtly refreshed, introducing a fresh Deep Forest green paint choice to its lineup. This new exterior option is now accessible for both the AX (O) and LX variants of this rugged off-roader. Previously seen on other Mahindra SUVs like the Scorpio N and the more recent XUV 3XO, this color variation adds to the Thar's aesthetic appeal.
Expanding its spectrum, the Mahindra Thar now offers a total of six exterior colors, including Red Rage, Deep Grey, Everest White, Stealth Black, Dessert Fury, and the latest additions, Deep Forest. These new hues inject further diversity into the Thar's palette, catering to varied tastes and preferences.
Features: No More Changes
The features lineup remains unchanged for the Thar, continuing to include a 7-inch touchscreen, manual AC, a 6-speaker sound system, cruise control, and a height-adjustable driver seat. Safety features encompass dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat mounts, an electronic stability program (ESP), and rear parking sensors. However, it can also get a bigger touchscreen in the future like the one spied on the upcoming Thar 5 door.

Engine Options: A Lot To Choose From!

The 2WD variant is powered by either a 1.5-liter diesel or a 2.0-liter petrol engine, while the 4WD version boasts a 2.2-liter diesel or a 1.5-liter petrol engine. Regardless of the drivetrain, buyers have the option of manual or automatic transmissions.
In specifics, the 2.0-liter petrol engine delivers 150bhp@5000rpm and torque of 320Nm@1500-3000rpm. On the other hand, the 1.5-liter diesel engine produces 116.93bhp@3500rpm with torque peaking at 300Nm@1750-2500rpm. Meanwhile, the 2.2-liter diesel engine churns out 130 Ps power and a peak torque of 300 Nm.
