Mahindra & Mahindra has finally revealed the pricing of the Thar Roxx 4X4 variants. The Mahindra Thar 4X4 has been launched at Rs 18.79 lakh (ex-showroom), and it is available with a single 2.2-litre diesel engine. The Thar Roxx 4X4 will be available in three variants namely the MX5, AX5L, and AX7L. The brand is offering a 2.2-litre diesel engine with the 4X4 variants paired with both manual and automatic transmission options.

If we talk about the engine specifications the Thar Roxx 4X4 comes with a 2.2-litre turbo diesel engine producing 175 bhp of power and 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine can be paired with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.
The Thar Roxx 4X4 comes with a lot of segment first features which are made exclusively for the 4X4 variants. The SUV comes with Smart Crawl function which is a smart cruise control system. Also, it comes with an Intelliturn system which allows it to take tight turns. The Thar Roxx comes with a lot of new features as compared to the 3-door version. It now comes with a panoramic sunroof, Harmon/Kardon sound system, Mahindra's 4XPLOR differential lock system with Sand, Mud, & Snow mode, wireless charging, and ADAS among other features.
The 4X2 variant of the Thar Roxx comes with an option of a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a manual and an automatic transmission. This engine comes with two forms of tuning. The petrol variant of the Thar Roxx starts at Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Mahindra Thar Roxx has stirred the SUV space with its amazing pricing and advance features. The brand has filled the SUV with a plethora of features and made it more practical with immense space on the inside for passengers as well as for luggage. However, the availability of 4X4 system in diesel engine might be a turn off for some potential customers. The Mahindra Thar Roxx competes with the Force Gurkha 5-Door and Maruti Suzuki Jimny.
