Priced between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 20.49 lakh, it impresses with a striking look reminiscent of its younger sibling, yet stands out on its own. The Thar Roxx offers a choice of seven colours, ensuring there's a shade to suit every preference. Mahindra Thar Roxx: A Closer Look At the Colour Options
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is available in seven eye-catching colour options: Stealth Black, Tango Red Black, Everest White, Deep Forest, Battleship Grey, Burnt Sienna, and Nebula Blue. The new Battleship Grey Black is an exciting addition, while the other colours may look familiar, as they are also seen in the three-door Thar lineup. One of my favourites, the deep grey colour, is included in this model too. The colour options cater to different preferences, offering choices from standout shades to bold but understated tones.
Now, moving on to the interior, it features a striking white-beige and black theme. The dashboard, steering wheel, and floor are primarily black, while the lower dashboard, seats, door panels, and ceiling are surrounded by a contrasting white-beige colour, creating a beautiful blend that enhances the overall look.

Mahindra Thar Roxx: Insight Into The Design With Our Detailed Image Gallery
The Mahindra Thar Roxx offers both petrol and diesel engine options. For petrol, it has a 2.0-litre turbo engine available with a choice of a 6-speed torque converter automatic or a 6-speed manual transmission. The diesel variant comes with a 2.2-litre engine and the same transmission options. It also features both rear-wheel drive (RWD) and all-wheel drive (AWD) options, but the petrol version is only offered with RWD.
The front of the Thar Roxx is distinguished by its wide, rectangular grille and circular LED headlights, along with a slightly larger front spoiler compared to the three-door Thar. The front bumper resembles the three-door version but is longer.
The overall look is different from the smaller Thar. At the rear, the Thar Roxx shares a similar design with the three-door model but has more space and an additional passenger door. The front features Thar Roxx badging, while the rear tail lights, although similar in style, are larger and divided into two parts.
The vehicle offers a range of comfort and convenience features for a pleasant ride. It includes a 10.24-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a wireless charger, eight-speaker, six-way powered seat, ventilated front seats, fully automatic climate control, power windows, and cruise control, among others.
For safety, it comes with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, a blind-spot monitor, and more. Additionally, it includes Level 2 ADAS features for enhanced safety.
In terms of competition, it will go up against models like the 5-door Maruti Jimny and the Force Gurkha.
Verdict
It combines a modern touch with added comfort and convenience. Under the hood, it boasts powerful engine options. In terms of design, it retains the classic Thar look but with some cosmetic updates. We're eagerly anticipating how it performs on the road and whether it lives up to customer expectations. The real test will be seeing how it stands up during actual driving conditions and if it meets the demands of its users.
