Mahindra Thar is one of the most affordable 4x4s in the country right now that was launched back in 2020. It received quite an overwhelming response from the Indian market, so much so that the waiting period for the same soars up to 12 months in some cities. However, that fact is also absorbed by some customers owning to the capabilities it offers at this price point. Now, new info related to the Thar comes that Mahindra is now moving towards some cost-cutting measures and deleting some of the features from the SUV. In this article, we will be sharing the same with you!
The SUV now no longer gets a silver finish on the front and rear bumpers and lumbar support for the front seats anymore. Furthermore, instead of two USB charger ports in the front, the new version will only get one and CEAT Czar AT tyres are now replaced with CEAT Crossdrive AT tyres.
The front and rear bumpers are now black that according to us, it looks raw and goes with any of the paint schemes of the Thar. While these above features might not be a deal-breaker to some buyers, it surely is a cost-cutting measure by Mahindra knowing the waiting period and both prices have gone up ever since its launch.
