In addition to the delayed deliveries, Mahindra has also discontinued the base variant AX of the Thar. Yes, the 6-seater version available for both petrol and diesel engines is now discontinued. It was the most affordable Thar to own.
Mahindra also claims that with the mega deliveries they will be conducting, the bookings of most units are for the Hard Top version of petrol and diesel engines. The new Thar has remarkably improved from its last generation in terms of engine, refinement levels, features and more.
