Mahindra XUV700 has been one of the most popular SUVs since its launch. The new SUV has now undergone a feature list revision for all variants.
It not been a long time since the uber-popular Mahindra XUV700 made it to the Indian market. Within the short time period, the XUV has already grabbed more than 1.5 lakh bookings across India. This has led to a long backlog of around 2 lakh cars that are yet to be delivered. As the waiting period plunges above the head of new customers, Mahindra has revised the feature list of XUV. Some features have been depleted while few have been added across all the trims.
Mahindra XUV700 Feature List Revision Details
As the whole automotive industry continues its struggling fight with the semiconductor shortage issue; Mahindra is trying to find new ways to cope with this. The new feature list revision is not major as we speak of, but it will affect the buying choice of the customers in the future.
Speaking of the changes that have taken place, the XUV700 is offered in 2 trims - MX & AX. Both of these trims have received the addition and depletion of quite a few features. While the base trim MX comes only as a 5-seater, the AX variants are offered with an optional 7-seating capacity as well.
The MX base trim will now not come equipped with Reverse Parking Sensors, Height Adjustable Driver Seat, Rear Spoiler, and Follow-Me Headlamps. The base model of the XUV is known for its aggressive pricing. With the deletion of these features, buyers might want to take a look of a newly launched Scorpio N.
The AX3 variant has undergone a cut of the Rear Wiper & Defogger along with the Selective Unlock features. The AX5 variant now will not offer the LED Sequential Turn Indicators. This is done to control the semiconductor shortage as well as ramp up the deliveries. The AX5 is one of the hot-selling variants of the XUV700.
While the feature deletion limits itself to the AX5 trims, the top-end AX7 and the Luxury Pack variants have received small additions on the contrary. The AX7 now comes with a Cruise Control option while the AX7 L now offers Adaptive Cruise Control (with Stop/Go) & LED Sequential Turn Indicators as well.
