Maruti Suzuki has recently launched a new special edition of the Swift, officially called the Blitz Edition. The special edition can be had with the three low-end trims of the hatchback. Maruti Swift Blitz: Details
The Maruti Swift Blitz will be available with three trims- LXI, VXI and VXI (O) and five variants- LXI, VXI, VXI AMT, VXI (O) and VXI (O) AMT. Now the question is what makes Swift Blitz a special edition? Let me tell you then. The new Swift Blitz Edition gets an underbody spoiler, a spoiler over the boot lid and moulding on each side. Other differentiating elements include fog lamps and illuminated door sills. Maruti Suzuki is offerings the Blitz kit worth Rs. 49,848. It means there is no extra charge if you opt for the Blitz edition for the said variants.
Maruti Suzuki Swift: Engine
The Maruti Suzuki Swift sources its power from a 1.2 litre three cylinder engine which is capable of making 82 bhp and 112 Nm, when running on CNG, the same unit generates 70 bhp and 112 Nm. For transmission, the brand offers a 5 speed manual and 5 speed AMT unit while the CNG guise only gets 5 speed manual gearbox.
Maruti's long List of Special Editions
The Maruti Swift Blitz is another addition to the brand's portfolio of special editions. The automaker already have Baleno Regal Edition, Wagon R Waltz Edition, Ignis Radiance Edition and Grand Vitara Dominion Edition in its lineup.
