Maruti Suzuki announced plans to increase prices across its portfolio at the end of 2024. While this move aimed to provide an early warning, it benefited both customers and the brand. The company moved its inventory more quickly, while many customers saved some money by avoiding the now-implemented price increase. Yes! Prices have now risen by up to Rs. 32,000 across various models including Maruti Swift, Dzire, Brezza, and others. However, do note that the WagonR, S-Presso, and Ertiga models are still available at their original prices and have not changed. The Alto K10 has seen a price adjustment, with the VXI (o) CNG variant experiencing the smallest increase of Rs 8,500. Meanwhile, the top-spec VXI Plus automatic variant has become pricier by Rs. 19,500. The new price range for the Alto K10 now spans from Rs 4.09 lakh to Rs 6.04 lakh.

The Maruti Celerio has seen a price hike, with the VXI and VXI CNG variants increasing by a minimum of Rs. 16,000. The top-tier ZXI Plus variant has experienced the highest increase at Rs. 32,500. Additionally, Maruti has discontinued the ZXI AMT variant.
Maruti Brezza
Buyers who had their eyes on the Maruti Brezza will find it easier as just two variants of this compact SUV get a price hike while the others continue just as they were. For the updated LXI and the LXI CNG trims, they get an increase of Rs. 20,000 each.

Maruti Swift
The new-gen Maruti Swift gets a uniform hike of Rs. 5,000 limited to just the automatic AMT variants. The Manual and the CNG trims of the Maruti Swift continue with their original sticker price as of now. With the new updates in effect, the AMT variant's pricing looks something like this:

Maruti Eeco van prices register a uniform increase of Rs. 12,000 across all its four variants, after which the prices now start at Rs. 5.44 lakhs and go all the way up to Rs. 6.70 lakhs.
Verdict
The impending price hikes were notified by the brand well before the actual even happened and that is a commendable thing on the part fo the brand. Although it benefitted both the parties in the deal, the latest price hikes are also not very significant to throw you off guard and can be managed easily. However, if you can land a MY24 model, you can save even more as there are hefty discounts as a part of their stock clearance drive.
