Mercedes-Benz EQG
The EQG looks a lot like the regular G-Class but with some cool updates. Built on the ladder frame chassis, it keeps the boxy shape but adds modern features. The front has a cool LED grille and headlights, and the wheels are bigger. At the back, instead of a spare wheel, there's a space to store the charging cable. The concept car mixes the awesome G-Class look with special design touches that are usual in electric Mercedes models.
The EQG will maintain the capabilities of the G-Wagon and with electric power, they're getting even better in certain aspects. The Concept EQG gives us a sneak peek into what a Mercedes-Benz G-Class with an electric battery can do. The brand hasn't revealed the details about the battery and motor yet, but the EQG will have four motors, one for each wheel.

Inside, the EQG will receive a modern touch while retaining the iconic G-Class silhouette. It showcases round AC vents, and a dual-display system, and incorporates all the contemporary features for a fully loaded experience. Additionally, the EQG includes a G-Turn function, enabling the car to perform a tank-turn or a 360-degree turn right on the spot.
Verdict
The Mercedes-Benz EQG Concept is set to make its public debut at the Bharat Mobility Show 2024. Although the car has not been released in any market yet, its premiere in India suggests that the electric G-Wagon will likely be available in India once it reaches the final production stage. When launched, the EQG will be in competition with the Lotus Eletre and BMW i7.
