Mercedes-Benz India has finally launched the all-new Mercedes EQA E-SUV in India. The electric SUV has made its way to India at an introductory price of Rs. 66 lakh (ex-showroom). The EQA electric SUV is the most affordable electric car in India's market. The all-new EQA is the third EV in MBIL's India lineup after the EQB, EQE and EQS. The all-new EQA competes with the likes of the BMW iX1, Kia EV6 and the Volvo XC40 in India.

Mercedes Benz EQA Design
The all-new Mercedes EQA gets a similar design language as the GLA SUV, its ICE counterpart. However, it can be easily differentiated with its EV-specific design elements which include a closed grille, and signature LED headlamps with connected LED DRLs. Additionally, the EQA electric SUV comes with an upgraded set of bumpers that have air vents to keep the temperature of the battery pack maintained.
Talking about the side profile, the Mercedes Benz EQA gets new alloy wheels. At the rear, there are connected tail lights which are the same unit as those offered with the Mercedes Benz EQB. The automaker has made available seven colour options for the all-new EQA electric SUV.
Mercedes Benz EQA Powertrain
The all-new EQA sources its power from a 70.5 kWh battery pack mated with an electric motor positioned at the front wheels. This powertrain generates 187 bhp of power and 385 Nm of torque. As per the company's claims, the EQA electric SUV provides a driving range of 560 km on a single charge.
The Mercedes Benz EQA is capable of running with a top speed of 160 kmph. Talking about acceleration, it can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 8.6 seconds. The E-SUV supports 7.4 kW, 11kW AC and DC charging as well. The SUV charges from 10-80 per cent in 35 minutes with the help of the DC charger.

The EQA electric SUV gets a similar set of features as the GLA except for some EV-specific additions inside the cabin. The EQA features illuminated AC vents and trims and illuminated stars on the dashboard like the Mercedes Benz EQB. Apart from this, it features dual 10-inch displays for infotainment purposes. Other features of the E-SUV include a heads-up display, automatic climate control, heads-up display, keyless entry, Burmester surround system, voice command supports and a panoramic sunroof.
