How We Calculated the Price?
At the pre-launch event of the Mercedes Benz EQA, the automaker mentioned the 14 lakh (20%) down payment which means around 70 lakh (ex-showroom). So, if we calculate, the 20 per cent of 69.9 lakh is 14 lakh. In addition to this, the brand will also offer some benefits and surprises which will take the price lower to 67.5 lakh, a good 10 lakh cheaper than EQB and yet more range.
Mercedes Benz EQA Design
The all-new Mercedes EQA derives most of its design elements from its ICE counterpart, the Mercedes GLA. However, the EQA easily differs from its front and rear design language. On the front, it gets a black front fascia with the Mercedes logo, a full-width LED light bar and a new set of LED headlamps. At the rear, the E-SUV gets sleeker LED taillights connected with an LED light bar. Apart from this, the registration plate sits on the lower side of the bumper.
Mercedes Benz Features
The all-new EQA gets a similar set of features as the GLA SUV. The E-SUV gets features such as dual 10.25-inch displays, turbine-style air-conditioning vents and a three-spoke steering wheel. As for safety, the new EQA gets 7 airbags, blind-spot assist, 360-degree camera, parking assist and much more. The upcoming electric SUV will get the safest battery pack which comes with an automatic high-voltage cut-off. It also gets a liquid cooling system to enhance the safety.
Powertrain
The Mercedes Benz EQA sources its power from a single motor setup, generating 188 bhp power and 388 Nm torque. The E-SUV has a 70.5 kWh battery which provides a range of 560 km (WLTP Cycle). The brand provides an 11kW AC charger with the E-SUV. But customers will be also able to charge the E-SUV from 10-80 per cent with a 100kW DC fast charger.
