The MG Comet EV is scheduled to be unveiled today, but the brochure for the vehicle has already been leaked and contains all of its specifications. After its launch, the new Comet EV will rank among the smallest electric vehicles available for purchase. The EV will compete against the Tata Tiago.ev and Citroen eC3 will be priced between Rs 10 and 12 lakhs (ex-showroom).

MG Comet EV Battery Specifications
The specifications for the battery and range of the upcoming Comet EV were revealed in the newly released document. The 17.3 kWh battery pack for the MG Comet EV will have a PMS motor. The EV will have a maximum torque of 110 Nm and a power output of 42 PS. On a single charge, the EV has a 230 km range. The brand will provide a 3.3 kW charger that can charge an EV from 0 to 100% in 7 hours and from 10 to 80% in 5 hours. Fast charging will not be supported by the EV.
The EV has the following measurements: 2974 mm in length, 1505 mm in width, 1640 mm in height, and 2010 mm in wheelbase. The EV will have a 4.2 metre turning radius. The electric vehicle will ride on 145/70-sized 12-inch tyres. While the rear tyres only receive drum brakes, the front tyres are supplemented by disc brakes.
For the MG Comet EV, a selection of 4 interesting colour options are offered. These are Flex (red), Sundowner (orange), Serenity (green), and Beach Bay (blue). As displayed in the official brochure, MG provides Sticker styles and Lit packs to make your Comet EV fashionable.
The brand had previously revealed some of its interior features, but the brochure solely displayed the mechanical details. The EV will include features including a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a digital instrument panel, twin front airbags, steering-mounted controls, and more.
