JSW MG Motor India is all set to launch its first two-door electric roadster in India, the MG Cyberster in the coming months. Ahead of the official launch, the Cyberster has achieved the milestone of being the fastest-accelerating car at the Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan. MG Cyberster Electric

The upcoming MG Cyberster EV has showcased its performance with this new record. The Cyberster has become the first electric roadster to achieve 0-100 kmph acceleration in 3.2 seconds at Salt Lake in India. This first-ever record is been verified by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records. The Cyberster is powered by a 77kWh battery pack and produces 510 PS of power and 725 Nm of peak torque. The MG Cyberster is expected to offer a range of up to 580 km.
The Cyberster features a heavily aerodynamic design language with a sporty stance. This two-door electric comes with electrically operated scissor doors, and a sleek LED headlamp, the side profile gets sleek body lines and an aerodynamic design, 20-inch alloy wheels and the rear of the Cyberster looks more packed with an arrow-shaped LED taillamp. The overall design takes cues from the two-door MG B Roadster of the 1960s.

The interior offers a premium cabin experience with luxury materials, a flat bottom steering wheel, a four-screen setup, a premium sound system, and electrically operated seats among other premium features.

Verdict
The MG Cyberster is expected to be launched in the coming months. The brand has set up new MG Select showrooms for the sales of the Cyberster and the MG M9 MPV. The Cyberster will be the first convertible electric sports roadster in the Indian market and is expected to be priced at over Rs 50 lakh in India.
