It's been a little over a year since MG made its debut with the Hector and gained popularity at once. It came with features loaded up to the brim and now MG Motor India has decided to roll out a special anniversary edition of the Hector.
Sharing more details on this anniversary edition of the MG Hector then it is based on the Super variant for both petrol and diesel engines. It gains wireless charging, air purifier and a Medklinn certified anti-virus in-car device. MG Motor India offers the Hector in four trims - Style, Super, Smart and Sharp.
Other than these additions, the Hector retains the same cosmetics and mechanicals as before. It gets the same 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine which makes as much as 141 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque while 2.0L FCA sourced diesel unit churns 170 bhp with 350 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines get a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard.

Feature-wise, the Anniversary edition gets LED treatment on the headlights, taillights, silver alloys, roof spoiler, turn indicator on ORVMs, manual AC controls, power-adjustable ORVMs, cruise control, rear AC vents, cooled glove box, driver armrest with storage and 12V socket, remote keyless entry, 26.4 cm touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Safety features on the MG Hector Super variant include front and rear parking sensors, dual airbags, Traction control, ABS with EBD and ESP, rear disc brakes, high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, reverse parking camera and among others.

This Anniversary Edition is priced the same as Super variant at Rs 13.64 lakh for the petrol engine and Rs 15 lakh for the diesel variant. All prices stick with the ex-showroom, Delhi.
