Mini Cooper SE Charged Edition Breaks Cover For India, Launched At Rs 55 Lakh

Mini India has launched the Mini Charged Edition, a limited version of the all-electric Mini 3-door Cooper SE, within the Indian market. This exclusive offering, available as a Completely Built-Up unit (CBU), consists of just 20 units and can be exclusively reserved through the Mini online shop. Mini Cooper SE Charged Edition - Exterior

The Mini Charged Edition marks the inaugural limited variant of the popular Mini 3-Door Cooper SE to make its debut in the Indian market. This exclusive edition introduces several distinctive features, including the debut of the Chili Red exterior color coupled with a Multitone Roof in White. Additionally, the Aspen White Exterior Trim encompasses elements such as headlight and tail light rings, door handles, logos, and the tailgate handle. The design is further accentuated by Frozen Red Sports Stripes adorned with Energetic Yellow highlights, which embellish the bonnet, sides, and boot of the vehicle, complemented by a chrome air inlet. It gets a 17-inch MINI Electric Power Spoke alloy wheels.

Notable headlight features are complemented by side scuttles, which incorporate LED indicators and the distinctive Energetic Yellow 'S' logo. Aspen White Mirror Caps, combined with the Chili Red exterior color, contribute to an even more distinctive and personalized appearance.

The interior showcases the distinctive Mini Electric Interior and features sports seats upholstered in Leatherette Carbon Black. The Nappa Leather multifunction steering wheel not only incorporates additional functions but also streamlines the control surfaces. Essential driving information is displayed on the 5-inch digital MID, designed with a sleek Black Panel style, and an 8.8-inch high-resolution full-color touchscreen. Wired Package, featuring a Navigation System, Wireless Charging, Multifunctional Instrument Display, Apple CarPlay, and a Harmon Kardon Hi-Fi Speaker System.

The safety features comprises of Driver Assistance Systems with Cruise Control, Park Distance Control, Rear View Camera, and Tyre Pressure Monitor. Standard safety features comprise front passenger Airbags, Brake Assist, 3-Point Seat Belts, Dynamic Stability Control, Crash Sensor, Anti-lock Braking System, Cornering Brake Control, Run-flat tires, and a Rear-View Camera. The included MINIMALISM technology incorporates an Auto Start/Stop function, Brake Energy Recuperation, Active Cooling Air Ducts, and Electromechanical Power Steering.

Mini Cooper SE Charged Edition - Powertrain

The fully electric MINI is equipped with a 32.6 kWh battery pack, delivering a driving range of up to 270 km. It provides an impressive power output of 184 hp/135 kW and a maximum torque of 270 Nm. Accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 7.3 seconds. The Mini 3-Door Cooper SE ensures swift and convenient charging. When connected to a 50 kW DC Charger, it can reach an 80% charge level in 36 minutes. Utilizing an 11 kW AC Charger achieves 80% charge in approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes, while a 2.3 kW AC Charger takes around 9 hours and 43 minutes to achieve the same 80% charge. The EV also offers various driving modes with standard MID mode and options for SPORT and GREEN modes.
