This noteworthy decision was announced last month, and Hyundai has steadfastly followed through on this promise. It's all part of Hyundai's overarching safety strategy, tailored specifically for the Indian market. Notably, this initiative upgrades even the base Grand i10 Nios, which now features four airbags as standard and a generous six in the top-spec variants. The Grand i10 Nios Era 1.2 petrol MT, for instance, is available at a starting price of Rs. 5.84 lakh (ex-showroom).

In the realm of safety enhancements, Hyundai also proudly shared that their latest generation Verna earned an impressive five-star rating in the GNCAP crash test. Additionally, they have committed to voluntarily subjecting three of their vehicles to the rigorous BNCAP crash test, underlining their dedication to safety across the board.

Verdict

Hyundai's focus on safety is really impressive. They're putting six airbags in all their cars, from basic to fancy models, to keep everyone safe. And getting a five-star safety rating and doing extra crash tests shows they're serious about it. It's a smart move that makes us feel more secure and sets a higher standard for the car industry.
