Bajaj Avenger is a very popular cruiser motorcycle in the Indian market. It was first launched in the year 2005 and at that time, the Avenger was the first cruiser motorcycle to be developed by an Indian company. Over the years, this motorcycle has received several updates. It is very mod-friendly too and in this article, we have shared with you one such unique example. Here, we have India's First Modified Bajaj Avenger Trike. Let's check it out.
Modified Bajaj Avenger Trike - VIDEO
The above-embedded video of the Modified Avenger has been uploaded on the YouTube channel, Moto Mahal. In this video, we can see that Lucknow's Jaggi Customs have modified the Avenger cruiser motorcycle and converted this bike into a trike. It still looks pretty attractive. The host in this YouTube video claims that Jaggi Customs can convert any motorcycle into a trike and that sounds great as this will be very helpful for specially-abled persons.
The motorcycle present over here is the 2020 version of the Bajaj Avenger Cruise 220 BS6. The Avenger 220 Cruise in its stock avatar gets a 17-inch front and a 15-inch rear tyre. The stock front tyre measures 90/90-17 while the rear one is a 130/90 section 15-inch unit. The modifier hasn't made any changes to the front tyre but now, instead of the 17-inch single rear tyre, it gets two 14-inch tyres and they are even equipped with disc brakes. Thus, this modified Avenger gets disc brakes on all three wheels along with ABS.
The modifier has also installed reverse gear on this motorcycle and it even gets a remote lock/unlock and start function with its unique key. However, the mechanicals are in stock avatars. It is still powered by a BS6 compliant 220cc, single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected DTS-i engine. This motor churns out 19.03 PS of power and 17.55 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. What are your thoughts on this new Modified Bajaj Avenger Trike? Do feel free to share your thoughts with us in the comments below.
