The new Thar has received an overwhelming response from the buyers ever since it was first launched in the Indian market. The car can be had in a number of variants and body types which makes it a practical choice for almost all types of buyers. Having said that, the Mahindra Thar can be had in six different colour options which include - Galaxy Grey, Rocky Beige, Aquamarine, Mystic Copper, Red Rage, and Napoli Black. If you are someone who likes white coloured vehicles, here is a modified white new Mahindra Thar which looks stunning and unique.
For starters, this new Mahindra Thar has been painted to white colour as the brand is yet to launch the white colour as an option. In my opinion, the white colour definitely looks extremely good on this new Thar. In addition, this new Thar also features after-market LED headlights with circular DRLs to give it a unique touch. Meanwhile, the new Thar is offered with two engine options - 2.2-L diesel and a 2.2-L turbo petrol engine. The power output from the diesel engine stands at 130 PS while the petrol engine delivers 150 Ps. The peak torque output from both these engines stands at 300 Nm. A manual, as well as an automatic gearbox, can be had with both these engines. It is worth noting that petrol AT delivers a peak torque output of 320 Nm.
The Thar is broadly offered in two variants - AX and LX. The AX model is a practical choice for those who will be using their vehicles in the rough terrains while the LX variant is aimed for the urban users. Having said that, the vehicle offers many features like cruise control, adjustable lumbar support, steering mounted steering controls, touch-screen infotainment screen, etc. The prices of the new Thar start from Rs 11.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
