In its latest avatar, the Tata Tigor EV carries a 26kWh Lithium-ion battery pack that is IP67 waterproof and dust-proof. The sub-compact electric sedan can be charged from 0 to 80% in just 60 minutes, while the maximum driving range achieved by ARAI is 306 km. This is a huge step up from the 213 km range of the extended-range model. Yet another highlight of the Tata Tigor EV is its 4-star safety rating in Global NCAP.
Visually, the MY21 Tata Tigor EV looks a lot like the facelift-ed ICE version that was launched in 2020. The biggest variation in the styling as compared to the regular version is courtesy of the glossy black panel with electric blue accents that has replaced the traditional grille. Moreover, there are some more blue accents inside the headlamps and on the new design 15-inch mag wheels. The new model is on sale in two colour options - Signature Teal Blue and Daytona Grey.
Even the cabin is a lot like that of the regular Tigor. However, akin to the exterior, there are several blue accents here. As expected, the gear lever has made way for a rotary dial. The equipment list includes a LED DRLs, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, automatic aircon, fully digital instrumentation, dual airbags, ABS, EBD, rear parking camera with sensors and iRA connected car technology.
