Last month, the folks at the Honda Cars India were on a roll. The Indian subsidiary of this Japanese car manufacturer launched not just one or two but three new cars in India in July 2020. These include the new fifth-generation Honda City, BS6-compliant Civic Diesel and the new facelifted WR-V BS6. The updated WR-V was recently launched in the Indian market. Now, the company has released the Official Demo Film of the New 2020 Honda WR-V BS6.

This official demo film of the WR-V gives us a detailed insight about the car. It highlights all the key features of the new WR-V and also presents a virtual walkaround of the car. The new Honda WR-V Facelift features subtle cosmetic upgrades, new BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engine options and some new feature add-ons.
Talking about the design changes, so the new WR-V Facelift gets minor cosmetic tweaks. It gets a revised front fascia with a chrome-embellished grille. It also gets tweaked bumpers and body-cladding all-around with aluminium skid plates at the front and rear. The WR-V features new LED projector headlamps with daytime running LEDs and LED fog lamps at the front. At the rear, it sports signature LED taillamps and gets a roof-mounted spoiler. The side profile of the crossover houses new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels and overall, the new WR-V looks really stunning.
Step inside and you can feel that the WR-V has a very spacious and practical cabin. It gets a ton of features including a new DIGIPAD 2.0 infotainment system with a 7.0-inch touchscreen unit. This infotainment system is compatible with Android Auto, Apple CarPlay and it also gets Mirrorlink connectivity. Some other features include keyless entry, push start/stop button, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof and more. The safety features of the car include ABS with EBD, dual front airbags, reverse parking sensors with rear parking camera, cruise control and many more.

Talking about the powertrain, so the new WR-V gets BS6-compliant petrol and diesel engine. The gasoline is a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated unit. This motor churns out 90 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 110 Nm of torque at 4800 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It has an ARAI-claimed fuel-efficiency of 16.5 kmpl. It also gets a 1.5-litre oil-burner. This diesel motor develops 100 PS of power and a whopping 200 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Also, the WR-V BS6 Diesel offers best-in-class fuel-efficiency of 23.7 kmpl (ARAI-claimed). Sadly, it doesn't get an automatic transmission with any engine option.
Lastly, talking about the price and variants of the car. So, the new 2020 Honda WR-V Facelift BS6 is available in two variants SV and VX for both the powertrains. The prices start at Rs. 8,49,900 and max out at Rs. 10,99,900. All prices stick to Ex-showroom Delhi. The detailed variant-wise prices are mentioned in the table below:
