New Hero ADV Scooter, Vida V1 At EICMA 2023
The leaked image of this upcoming product indicates that the company is venturing into the 150cc plus scooter segment for the first time. The scooter's design features large 14-inch wheels, a tall windscreen, extended suspension travel, a spacious single seat, and a floorboard reminiscent of the Yamaha Aerox 155. This marks the first visual glimpse of the scooter following the earlier patent leak a few months ago.
Based on information doing rounds, Hero has engineered a new 160cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, and it is set to debut in this upcoming adventure scooter. While specific power figures have yet to be disclosed, it's anticipated to be in the vicinity of the Aprilia SR160. In terms of features, the Hero scooter is expected to be equipped with a full-color TFT screen, a range of functionalities, and convenient under-seat storage.
The Hero ADV Maxi Scooter boasts a tall windscreen, not only adding visual flair but also providing some wind protection. Hero's recent models have featured adjustable windscreens, and this one is likely to offer some level of adjustability as well. The scooter features a dual headlight setup that exudes a big bike aesthetic. Design patents have revealed a small beak-like element, emphasizing its adventure-oriented design. The wheels appear to be 14 inches in size, contributing to the scooter's overall stance. For the suspension, the front sports RSU telescopic forks with long-travel, while the rear is equipped with a twin shock absorber setup.
