The all-new 2022 Mahindra Scorpio is all set to make its debut in the Indian market and will be offered with a long list of changes including a new exterior design, updated cabin, a new platform, and updated powertrain options for the buyers. The new Scorpio will not only look better but will also offer a more practical and comfortable cabin. The car was once again spied a few days ago but this time, we have clear interior images of the vehicle. Here is a quick New Mahindra Scorpio interiors vs the old that will give you a better idea about the changes that you should know.
For starters, the new Mahindra Scorpio will be offered with an all-new dashboard layout (as seen above) with a new and a larger infotainment system, automatic climate control, a new steering wheel, and a fully digital instrument console. Needless to say, the new infotainment system will be offered with features like Apple Carplay, Android Auto, and Bluetooth connectivity while Mahindra may also offer the latest Adrenox system with this touchscreen unit. In addition to this, the Scorpio will also boast other features like rear-AC vents, a large sunroof, push-button start, a new centre console with a usable centre arm-rest and a new dual-tone black-brown colour combination for the cabin.

The older Scorpio (picture below) on the other hand came with a smaller infotainment system, automatic climate control, and a large analogue instrument cluster. This iteration of the Scorpio also lacks a sunroof, centre storage box with armrest and gets limited storage options. It also came with a lighter colour shade for the dashboard. Having said this, both the cars will continue to offer high-seating, impressive visibility, and lots of space inside the cabin. The new Scorpio will be available with a six-seater as well as a seven-seater cabin while the safety levels too are expected to be better than before.
The engine options are expected to be shared with the new Mahindra Thar and the upcoming Scorpio is expected to make its debut in the coming few months. This means it will get both petrol and diesel engines along with automatic option with both the fuel types. 4x4 will be on offer as well, however possibly reserved for the higher versions. Once launched, the Scorpio will be one of the most capable and affordable ladder-on-frame SUVs that will be on sale in the Indian market.
