But how to operate the winch?
Step 1 - Wear the gloves
It is for your own safety when you are touching the winch or
Step 2 - Rotate the knob
Well, in the anti-clockwise direction, just rotate the knob and pull the cable. That's how easy it is. C'mon, you gotta use little force from your side too, no?
Step 3 - Strap the thing you want out of your way or wanna pull
This is easy! If you want to pull out the vehicle stuck in front of you or remove an obstacle that's causing a problem in your way, just strap it and you're good to go. Make sure it's tight.
Step 4 and Step 5 - Attach the D-shackle and Hook The Winch
Here, you just need to attach the d-shackle along with hooking up the winch.
Step 6 - Lay recovery damper
This is something that is quite useful because it stops the objects from flying through the air and injuring people involved in the recovery operation.
Step 7 - Connect the cable and start the car
One needs to start the car because if they don't then the winch might even drain the battery of your car.
Step 8 - Sit inside and let the winch do its job
No, literally just sit inside and just reverse the car a little and operate the winch via a remote. Voila, you have your path clear now.
Bushranger Xtrax II
