It is no secret to anybody that Renault is currently developing a number of SUVs for its global line-up and in due process, is also expected to launch the next-gen Duster in the markets. In addition to this, the brand is also expected to launch the Bigster 7-seat SUV. While the brand is yet to officially confirm the launch of these new SUVs in the Indian market, here are all the details that we know so far.
For starters, the new Duster will be underpinned by the new Ranulat-Nissan CMF-B platform. This platform also underpins the new Sandero and a number of other offerings in the brand's portfolio. The present-gen Duster was recently discontinued from the Indian market and if reports are to be believed, the third-gen iteration of the Duster will make its Indian debut in the year 2023-24.

While the brand is tight-lipped about the launch and the official details, the new Duster is expected to be offered with a completely new exterior design, a modern cabin, and a more capable and efficient powertrain. We are also expecting to see a new turbo-petrol engine with a mild-hybrid powertrain to be offered with the new Duster in the Indian market. More details however are yet to be known.
Dacia is currently working on a new 7-seater SUV that will boast an affordable price tag and a spacious cabin with a long features list. This car will be positioned above the Duster and is expected to measure over 4.50 metres in length. It is likely to share the same powertrain with the Renault Duster.
