Exterior Design Updates
For starters, the new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V not gets a new exterior colour theme - Knight black. This is for the first time that the bike will be available with a dual-tone colour scheme. The buyers opting for the Knight Black colour will get a matte black finish on the bodywork while the alloys and the rear seat will feature red colour that contrasts well with the black colour and looks sporty. Apart from that, the bike gets two other colour options - Red and Blue.
The new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V will now also feature redesigned full-LED headlamps that look completely different. While the older iteration of the bike featured different claw-like LED DRLs positioned above the headlights, these new unit gets integrated DRLs and looks much better than before. The RTR 160 4V now has its own identity and has lost most of its similarities with the largest siblings.
Updated Features
Three new driving modes are now on offer with the new version of the bike. These include Urban, Sport, and Rain mode that not only alters power output and throttle response but also helps the rider have better control over the bike. We see similar riding modes in other TVS two-wheelers like Ntorq 125, RR 310 and the RTR 200 4V.

The new TVS Apache 160 4V also gets the TVS SmartXonnect Technology. This helps the rider connect his/her mobile to the Bluetooth enable system using an app to access detailed information related to the bike. Additionally, the bike also gets other features like an engine kill switch, disc brakes with ABS, etc.
Pricing
Four variants of the new bike are on offer. While the new TVS Apache RTR 160 4V price starts from INR 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the base variant, the range-topping Special Edition model is priced at INR 1.21 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant offers dual disc brakes, Bluetooth connectivity and radial tyre in addition to other standard features.
