The popular compact SUV from South Korean marque, Hyundai Venue is ready to get a generation upgrade. According to the brand, the next-gen Venue is coming to market in 2025. Moreover, the company's newly acquired Talegaon plant will have it as the first vehicle rolling out for Hyundai.

2025 Hyundai Venue Coming With Generational Upgrade
Just recently, Hyundai took over the Talegaon plant from General Motors to mark the second manufacturing facility for Hyundai in India. While they plan to roll out 1,50,000 units annually, it will help them achieve the 1 Million annual target as well.

Now, coming to the Venue. Since its launch back in 2019, it brings in a good number of buyers to showrooms. Contesting for the same spot are Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, and Tata Nexon. While the Tata Nexon is due for its facelift, which is coming anytime now, it only means that the rivals need to up their game. On top of this, the Kia Sonet facelift has also been spotted testing in India for the first time. However, since it is a time when everyone is improving their game, Venue is gearing up to leave the crown to none other than its own improved version. And while it still offers a pretty good bang for the buck, the only way forward is up. Expect some advanced features to debut with this one.
Current Hyundai Venue: Powertrain And Features
The Venue Knight Edition provides customers with engine options to choose from. For the S(O) and SX variants, there's the 1.2L Kappa Petrol engine paired with a Manual Transmission. On the other hand, the SX(O) variant offers the 1.0L T-GDi Petrol engine with two transmission choices: 6MT and 7DCT. This special edition Venue comes in a range of five appealing color options, including four Monotone selections - Abyss Black, Atlas White, Titan Gray, and Fiery Red - as well as a dual-tone option, Fiery Red with Abyss Black.
On the features front, it is a pretty well-equipped package. Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, cruise control, automatic climate control, sunroof, and also connected car tech on board as well. All in all, the inside of the cabin is a pretty practical place to be in.
Pricing
The price of Hyundai Venue starts at Rs. 7.76 lakhs ex-showroom and tops out at Rs. 13.13 lakhs. Moreover, just recently, Venue Knight Edition has been launched with a price bracket of Rs. 9.99 lakhs to Rs. 13.48 lakhs ex-showroom.
Verdict
Hyundai Venue and the Exter rakes in pretty good numbers for the brand. While the competition is prying to take the limelight with facelifts and mid-generation updates, its high time that Venue gets its due share of improvments.
