Hyundai India unveiled the production version Creta in the Indian market recently at the 2020 Auto Expo. The global manufacturer will reveal the all-new Elite i20 in the international market next month and before that, the official sketches of the upcoming hatchback are out. The sharp-looking Hyundai Elite i20 will be launched in the Indian market later this year and here are the first official teaser images of the vehicle.
The Hyundai Elite i20 sketches show that the vehicle will get a new grille, which is in accordance with the latest design language of Hyundai Motors. The sleek headlamps also look quite interesting and are similar to the lamps of the new Hyundai Tucson. The new headlamps come with integrated LED DRLs that look extremely sharp and add an all-new look to the vehicle. The fog lamp housings have also become bigger and will offer projector lamps. Hyundai has designed the next-generation Elite i20 very aggressively and it looks very sporty.
On the side, the design of the vehicle has changed slightly. It gets a differently designed c-pillar and a sharp-looking window line. There is also a thick chrome stripe that adds a very elegant look to the vehicle. We can also spot the new alloy wheels and in recent times, Hyundai has become very aggressive when it comes to the design of the alloy wheels. The recently-launched Hyundai Aura is an example of the same.
The rear design of the all-new Hyundai Elite will offer the same sporty layout with a thick black stripe connecting both the tail lamps. Apart from that, the bumpers have become very aggressive too.
The Indian version of the next-generation Elite i20 will be slightly different to suit the Indian conditions and market demands. The car will take on the likes of Tata Altroz, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Honda Jazz and more.
Hyundai has not revealed the engine details of the car but the vehicle has been spotted testing on the Indian roads multiple times. The car is likely to carry the same 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.4-litre diesel engine option. We may get to see a high performance 1.0-litre turbocharged variant of the car too.
