Nissan Magnite Facelift: First Official Teaser Reveals New Alloys
The teaser reveals that the 2024 Nissan Magnite facelift will sport a revamped design for its alloy wheels. It will feature new 6-spoke dual-tone alloy wheels, enhancing the SUV's overall aesthetic appeal. These new alloy wheels are expected to maintain the same 16-inch size as the current pre-facelift model. Apart from this, the teaser avoids any more updates, maybe a bid to keep the excitement running but the upcoming model has been spotted partially without a veil at a crash test facility in the recent past that gave away some major updates on what's to come.
You won't notice any drastic visual changes, but the updated headlamps paired with new daytime running lights will give the 2024 Magnite a refreshed appearance. The grille will be redesigned to enhance its overall look, and both the front and rear bumpers will receive modifications. While the side profile is expected to remain mostly unchanged, the rear will feature revised tail lamps with updated detailing to complete the look.
Interior And Features
The interior will mostly retain its current dashboard design, but you can look forward to some updates like new color options and a redesigned steering wheel. The infotainment system will boast an upgraded touchscreen with a new user interface, complemented by a revamped fully digital instrument cluster. Safety features will see enhancements, including six airbags and more. Despite the trend of new models incorporating ADAS, the Magnites price point suggests that driver assistance features will likely not be included in this update.

The Nissan Magnite facelift will continue with the existing powertrain options. It gets two petrol engines: a naturally aspirated 1.0-liter 3-cylinder unit producing 72PS power and 96 Nm of torque, and a turbocharged 1.0-liter engine generating 100PS and 160 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a choice of transmissions, with the naturally aspirated variant offering a 5-speed manual or an AMT gearbox, while the turbocharged version is available with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT option.
Engine | Power | Torque | Transmission Options |
---|---|---|---|
1.0-liter Naturally Aspirated | 72PS | 96 Nm | 5-speed MT, AMT |
1.0-liter Turbocharged | 100PS | 160 Nm | 5-speed MT, CVT |
The updated Magnite will get a slight price hike to balance the extra features and updates as it continues to rival the likes of Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and others in the compact SUV category.
