Okinawa Extended Warranty Program - Details
The new extended warranty program of Okinawa starts at just Rs 2,287. Meanwhile, depending on the model, this price can go up to Rs 5,494. Additionally, Okinawa has become the first EV company to offer such an extensive warranty on its products. As per the details, this scheme covers the crucial components like the traction motors, DC-DC converters, chargers, & controllers. Meanwhile, this scheme also covers the frame & even the wiring harness for the vehicle. While the prices are out, the time period of extension is standard for two years. However, old model owners of up to three-year-old scooters can also avail of this scheme.
The product lineup of Okinawa is confined to 8 models. It ranges from budget-oriented scooters to long-range premium scooters. Additionally, Okinawa OKHI 90 is the top-of-line electric scooter on sale by the company. This scooter was launched a few months back with a maxi-scooter design. It has premium build quality along with big 16-inch alloy wheels. Priced at Rs 1.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), the OKHI-90 can do up to 160 km of riding range (claimed). It can also go up to 90 kmph at top speed.
