Swappable Battery
Ola Electric recently filed for a design patent, and now the CEO has officially teased the swappable battery, along with hinting at the upcoming e-scooter, which, based on the photos, appears to be specifically designed for commercial purposes. From the images, the e-scooter features a large flat area, likely intended for carrying heavy loads. Additionally, another photo was shared, offering a close-up of the front end, showcasing the LED light setup and telescopic fork.
Lastly, the swappable battery with a grab handle matches the design patent. The current lineup of Ola scooters features fixed batteries, but the swappable battery system has the potential to boost Ola's sales. Currently, only the Hero Vida uses this type of battery, and the upcoming Honda electric scooter, possibly the Activa Electric, will also feature this system.
