Renault India is the most selling European carmaker in the Indian market and that is for a reason. While the other European carmakers like Volkswagen and Skoda are targeting the premium segment, Renault India is sailing in the market with entry-level cars like the Kwid and Triber - which adds to volumes. But that doesn't mean the brand will only sell entry-level cars, Renault will launch the Magnite-based sub-compact SUV soon. Renault India is now expanding its reach in the market and has already added over 90 new sales outlets and touchpoints in less than a year.
Renault India is prepping up for the next big launch and the product is almost ready. The brand's India head shared that the supply chain issue has lead to a delay in the launch of the Kiger sub-compact SUV which may not happen before early next year. Talking about the new sales outlets, the French marque has increased its presence in smaller cities and towns by adding 90 new sales touchpoints. Now the brand operates 415 sales and 475+ service touchpoints which include 200+ Workshop on Wheels service vans.
