Even though the Renault Kiger is smaller in length, width and height than Nexon, it still gets an additional 2 mm on wheelbase which accounts for a more sense of space. However, the shoulder space is still better in the Tata Nexon. Where the Kiger stands out is the boot space which sticks to 405 litres as compared to the 350 litres of the Nexon.

Renault Kiger gets two available petrol engines - a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated and a more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. The turbo petrol generates 100 PS with a peak torque of 160 Nm while the 1.2-litre turbocharged unit of the Nexon churns out 120 PS with 170 Nm of peak torque.
A 5-speed manual gearbox is available for both the engines of the Kiger whereas the Nexon is equipped with a 6-speed stick shift. A CVT unit is observed with the Kiger and a 6-speed AMT for the Nexon. The turbo petrol engine of the Kiger delivers 20 kmpl whereas the Nexon delivers 17.4 kmpl only. In a way, even though the Kiger isn't that powerful, however, it surely delivers more fuel economy than the Tata Nexon.
