- Expected to be the name for the upcoming 650cc Scrambler
- Will be based on the Interceptor 650 platform
Royal Enfield is currently concentrating on expanding its line of vehicles and is working on a number of new products. The company has applied for a trademark for its upcoming 650cc motorcycle as part of this take-on. The term Interceptor BEAR 650, which suggests that it would be made for off-road use and might be a part of the future 650 Scrambler model, is said to be the name of the new motorcycle. It's important to note that Royal Enfield is developing 13 different models in addition to this one.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 BEAR
If this name is taken for the 650 Scrambler model, the spy images of RE 650 Scrambler has been surfaced online multiple times. The Interceptor, on which the new bike is based, appears to be very similar to it. There are some obvious differences, though. All-terrain tyres, a reworked chassis with a shorter swingarm, and a unique suspension setup with USD forks up front are a few of these. It also has spoked wheels and an innovative two-in-one exhaust system. We saw this bike a few months back while it was being tested, and we even shared a video of its exhaust note. You may see it below if you missed it.
The bike's single-piece seat seems comfy from a distance, and its switchgear resembles that of the new Super Meteor 650. The bike's back has a short tail design and a circular LED taillight. The bike will probably have the same semi-digital instrument console as the Interceptor, though. The bike's 648cc parallel-twin engine will be the same as the Interceptor's, but it will have different tuning and potentially changed gear ratios for a more exhilarating off-road ride. The test bike also has radiator guard, short flyscreen, underbelly protection guard, headlight protection guard, and AUX lights.

The air/oil cooled, 648cc parallel-twin engine which generates 52 Nm of torque and 47 bhp of power will power the upcoming bike. The Scrambler's engine tuning may be altered.
Verdict: With the arrival of the Royal Enfield Interceptor BEAR 650, the brand's range of 650cc motorcycles will be expanded. In order to make it a more accessible option for customers, it is anticipated that the price of the new bike will be lower than that of the Interceptor 650.
