Simple Energy has finally debuted their eagerly awaited Simple One electric scooter after multiple delays. The scooter is now available for purchase at an ex-showroom price of Rs 1.45 lakh (ex-shworoom) for the monotone color variant, and Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the BrazenX and LightX editions. Simple One will be available at a price of Rs 1.58 lakh with a 750W charger. Deliveries of the scooter will start on June 6th in Bengaluru and then spread to more cities in the months that follow. Simple One Electric Scooter
Simple One electric scooter is one of the good looking electric scooter in the Indian market. The brand has previously revealed the four monotone colours, now at the official debut the brand has unveiled two new dual-tone colours namely BrazenX which gets black base with red colour on the winglet, rear grabrail and alloy wheels. The other dual tone option is the LightX which gets white base with red coloured winglets, rear grabrail and alloy wheels.
The Simple One electric scooter features an in-house aluminum swing arm and a tubular steel chassis. The Simple One will now be equipped with fixed and removable (portable) batteries. It has an 8.5 kW peak motor output and a peak torque of 72 Nm. According to IDC, it boasts a 5kWh battery pack that gives it an amazing claimed range of 212 kilometres, making it the longest range in its class. It gets four riding modes namely Eco, Ride, Dash & Socnic.
Using home and portable charging methods, the scooter can be charged from 0% to 80% in roughly 5 hours and 54 minutes. In addition, the company will start offering a 750W charging solution in September, and the Loop fast charging network is scheduled to go live in August.

In terms of features, the Simple One electric scooter is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen instrument panel powered by Android OS. This instrument cluster conveniently displays all relevant vehicle-related information. The scooter supports telematics, allowing for OTA (Over-The-Air) updates and providing ride statistics, among other functionalities. Additionally, it features Bluetooth 4.2 support, map support, and various other rider-friendly features to enhance convenience.
