Skoda Enyaq EV: Spied Testing In India Already
The Skoda Enyaq EV test mule has been spotted completely uncamouflaged by us previously, showcasing its striking design and features. Built on Volkswagen's MEB platform, similar to the ID.4, the Enyaq is a spacious SUV with a bold and simple aesthetic that embodies the Skoda brand. Captured within Skoda's production facility, the vehicle was seen equipped with a fast charger. Although we couldn't photograph the interior, it is expected to offer a premium finish, highlighted by a low-slung dashboard adorned with leather upholstery. Key interior features include a two-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, and a large floating infotainment screen. Additionally, Skoda plans to equip the Enyaq with advanced technologies like ADAS and a 360-degree and more.
Skoda is expected to equip the Enyaq with a 77 kWh battery pack, offering a driving range of 500-550 km per charge, and the option of dual electric motors for all-wheel drive. Currently undergoing road tests, the Enyaq iV is expected to launch in India by the end of the year, priced around Rs 50-55 lakh as a completely built unit (CBU). This model will compete with the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Kia EV6, while Skoda also plans to introduce a new compact SUV by March 2025, positioned below the Kushaq.
Skoda Elroq: The Compact More Affordable EV
The Skoda Elroq will be the brand's first model to feature the Modern Solid Design architecture. This design language is highlighted by sharp matrix LED headlights, an aerodynamic stance, and distinctive lettering on the bonnet reminiscent of the Vision S concept. The Elroqs side profile showcases five-spoke black alloy wheels and a charging port on the rear right quarter panel.
