Czech manufacturers Skoda just launched the Octavia RS at a price of Rs 36 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This will be a full import model and will be limited to 200 units only. Skoda has also revealed other plans for the upcoming cars that will be launched in 2020! The list goes long from Superb facelift to Kodiaq.

Skoda Octavia vRS
The performance-oriented sedan has just been launched. This is a Euro-spec version which gets lowered suspension, 18-inch alloy wheels, all-black interiors and more. The sedan is priced at Rs 36 lakh and those keeping an eye on this can book this car on March 1. Please note, only 200 units are available for this sedan.
Skoda Karoq
Skoda Karoq is the new entrant for the Czech manufacturer. The SUV rivals with the likes of Jeep Compass and will only come with a 1.5L petrol engine. This motor develops 150 bhp with a peak torque of 250 Nm. Transmission sticks to a 7-speed DSG only. This SUV looks like a scaled-down version of the Kodiaq.
Skoda Superb Facelift
Well, it is just not your regular facelift with some changes sticking to the exteriors and interiors of the sedan. It will also get an all-new 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine which churns out 190 PS and 320 Nm of peak torque.
Transmission option sticks to a 7-speed DSG gearbox and top speed is limited to 240 km/h. 0-100 km/h sprint is achieved in 7.7 seconds and the engine is mated to a 7-speed DSG transmission. With the facelifted model it will get 17-inch dual-tone Cassiopeia ally wheels and higher trims will see 17-inch Stratos ally wheel in anthracite.
Skoda Rapid Facelift
With the new emission norms, Skoda will discontinue the diesel engines and post BS6 only petrol engine will be on offer. Currently, the Rapid comes with a 1.6L petrol engine which churns 104 bhp and 153 Nm of peak torque.
With the facelift, there will a new engine on offer. A 1.0L TSI engine which comes with 81 kW of power. Skoda says that this motor is tuned to give in better mileage figures. The power output will be increased to 110 bhp. A new touchscreen infotainment system is also on the offer.
Skoda Kodiaq Facelift
The facelifted Kodiaq is one of the upcoming cars from the Skoda India lineup for 2020. The changes for the facelifted models are not just limited to exteriors and interiors but will carry mechanical changes too. Like the Superb, it will come with a 2.0L TSI petrol engine which produces the same 190 PS of power with 320 Nm of peak torque.
The transmission includes a 7-speed DSG and will come with 4x4 on board. 0-100 km/h speed is achieved in a mere 7.5 seconds and top speed gets limited to 211 km/h only. It will get the virtual cockpit system along with a large panoramic sunroof.
